Short description:

The Review: It would appear that Kjell-Erik Eriksson has many strings to his bow, many colours within his music. He is the well loved front man with Hoven Droven, whose innovative arrangements combining rock 'n' roll, electric guitars, saxophone, fiddle and polskas have great fun together. From this intense electric mix, he sits demurely within the forces of Triakel, a sublime meeting of fiddle, voice and harmonium. Then there is this solo CD, which pays tribute to Offerdal musicians Ante and Olle Falk, and also to Erik Nirsa, whose playing and repertoire have played huge roles in Kjell-Erik's musical development. He is a very focussed musician who has deep respect for his tradition but is not afraid to make it his own. His respect for the music of Simon and Olle Simonsson is also obvious, creating a clear charismatic style that shines effortlessly throughout the whole recording. Key words:
