The Review: Never has Victor's tenor sax sounded so unaffected and natural. This work has a true groove spirit: de Diego demonstrates his taste for the hardbop school from the end of the 50s and beginning of the 60s, and his soul jazz leanings in the tracks with a strong rhythmic beat, while his soprano style is gentle and nostalgic.
