Short description:

The Review: This Cd takes no prisoners - from the opening track 'Spakens polska', the two fiddlers hit you with the force of a train… Särna music - a strange, heavily rhythmic, throatily tonal and sometimes dark. Both fiddlers were born in 1954 and settled eventually in Karlstad in the late 70s where their paths crossed and they started to play together. Per-Olof introduced Per to the music of Särna and their roles were defined: Per-Olof on melody and Per on second voice that compliment eachother perfectly. It's obvious that they have played together for many years, and influenced by the music of Spak Erik and Skår Arvid, they breathe their own freshness, tension and agility into this great heritage.
