| This re-release of the 1989 recording on CD shows an early but beautifully evocative Willemark producing a collection of traditional fiddle tunes, ballads and songs. It was produced by Lena Willemark and Ale Möller, who she has continued to collaborate with in many projects.
She is joined by the highly respected musicians Kalle Almlöf (fiddle), Verf Lena Egardt (fiddle), Björn Stabi (fiddle) and her later counterparts in Frifot, Ale Möller (bouzouki and harmonica) and Per Gudmundson (fiddle and bagpipes).
Lena Willemark is from Dalecarlia, Sweden and she is one of the most respected and established interpreters of Swedish folk music. |
