Review |
| | Two of Tigerlily's members, Elisabeth Vatn and Harald Skullerud were in Chateauneuf Spelmanslag and this CD shows their eclectic mix of instrumentation and sounds - mostly self-penned material that is developed through improvisation. Their distinctive use of the Scandinavian bagpipes, traditional instruments from around the world such as the Konting (an ancient Senegalese Harp Lute) with modern technology and electronics results in an interesting soundscape which is sometimes funky and sometimes poetic.
